How To Add Search Box For WP eStore?

    My web designer setup a blog for me with WP eStore. I asked him to put in a search box that would pull certain records from the database based on what was typed into the search. In short he said it couldn’t be done. That the standard WP search box doesn’t pull from eStore. Is this true? Am I not able to let visitors do a search on my site and have the search box pull the appropriate records from WP eStore?

    If this can be done, how do I do it?
