How to add paragraphs on pages and import contact form (3 posts)

    Good day!

My troubleshooting problem is that I am unable to create paragraphs on my pages, thus I have one fat block of text from top to bottom.

My current theme is chocotheme and I certainly know it is not the theme because I had this problem when I tried out Wordsmith Anvil theme which was ok at the beginning and then the paragraphs disappeared.

I am using visual to edit my pages which ofcourse shows the paragraphs but not in my view page or the actual website. How do I add paragraphs on to my pages using the Chocotheme? I tried researching/reading forums about the same but to no fruition. Here is my page for this query: http://thinksuccessandbeyond.com/wp-admin/theme-editor.php (I hope that is the correct link to copy & paste) :)

Also my other query is, how do I import my contact form from an external source to my pages on wordpress. I have the code, but have no clue where to insert it. It is a bunch of text (codes) which I was unable to create a link for. Which would be the appropriate place on each page to fix the codes for my contact form or how to do I convert the text codes in to a link if at all and where/how to place the link for the contact form?

Pardon me as I am only three days old into this website building and I have no prior technical experience whatsoever, so a clear feedback would be greatly appreciate for easy understanding.

Thanks in advance for jumping in to help! :)

    Hi Viollah,
First up, for your theme - you might try adding what looks like double spacing between the paragraphs while you're adding text in visual mode. Did you perhaps copy and paste the text in from another program, like Microsoft Word?

For the contact form, I'd recommend adding it to the bottom of your pages. When you've finished adding your text, select the HTML tab and paste in the block of code at the bottom of all of your text. Click Publish and you should be good to go.

Hope that helps - and welcome to WordPress.

    Hello Kelli,

    Many thanks for your response.

As for the contact form, it worked out perfect, thanks to your advise/help.

However, all my pages still have no paragraphs, so there is definitely something a miss. I typed out the text in most of the pages and even the contact form has no paragraphs between the text about it and the contact form box. No matter how much spacing i put in the paragraphs, they dont reflect on my view/actual page.

So I am still looking for a solution.

Anyone who has a clue how i can resolve this, would be much appreciated.

    Kind regards,

    Viollah
