I want to add a top bar that includes links, something similar to the Titan theme....http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/titanwhich has the top bar with the rss and social networking icons.
I'm assuming I have to edit the header.php code directly...
(I want to do this change to the Mystique theme)

Posted 2 years ago #yes you have to edit the theme directly. It's not that hard really, I learned how to adjust themes by just cutting and pasting things that I wanted from other themes into my theme. And then copying over any relevant css. (Just have a backup of your theme in case you make a mistake.
