How to add 'Now Playing' metadata

I had a friend set-up my website initially, but she was unable to assist me further with this part.
I am running a home-based radio station and my radio automation has an option to upload to FTP the ‘Now Playing’ metadata, which shows the Song title, Artist, Album (and Album art)and Release year. I have filled in the appropriate info in the automation, but I do not know how to extract the relevant info from the FTP to my website that will update itself everytime a song plays.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?
