Check out this page by Facebook. Configure the button, then paste the code into a new text widget.
I tried putting my website in the url spot, but it keeps saying:
The href entered is not recognized as a valid URL.
I must be doing something wrong?
I guess I was supposed to leave it blank.
Is there a way to link that up so that it likes my website’s facebook page, or just the option to like the website?
Are you copy/pasting the text from both boxes?
<div id="fb-root"></div>
<script>(function(d, s, id) {
var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];
if (d.getElementById(id)) return;
js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;
js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1&appId=179455875462435";
fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);
}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));</script>
<div class="fb-like" data-send="false" data-width="450" data-show-faces="false"></div>
I finally figured it out.
Thanks so much for your help.
I put the full http://www.facebook.com/photosfromyourcar in the url spot, then I only copied the second part of the code.
For some reason when I pasted both of the texts in the box, it made it like the latest post instead of the facebook page.
For wordpress which plug in code do we choose?
HTML5
XFBML
IFRAME
URL
