I would like to add internal links in the page sidebars related to the specific page I’m on. (And possibly adding them as a small information pop-up box when the said link is clicked on). Is there a way of doing this?

I don’t see the possibility to enter anything other than simple unformatted text.

Please help if you know how to add an internal link!

    Thanks!

Ok for anyone else, I experimented with this plugin and can add html code tags in for links using html anchor tags etc.

However this plugin is so limited – I wasted days trying to style it to my theme as it did not have any css. I also tried other widget plugins like core sidebars but none did the job.

Thankfully I since found a wonderful wonderful wonderful
simple-install immediately-working Plugin called Side Content
which does the job much better, allows for multiple unlimited different widgets per page or post, and automatically uses the css styling from my theme so no hacking needed. Simple, easy to use straight away here:

    Side Content Plugin:

Not having seen either of those I wrote a plugin to do this too
