   Hi All,

   I'm new to the Forums and more or less a WordPress.org beginner with no knowledge of coding, so bear with me. I want to add an email hotlink to my sidebar and/or my footer, and I don't know how to do it. Can someone tell me the code? I found something in the Codex but it didn't work.

   Also, if adding the hotlink is not a good idea for some reason, is there a way to add the words "Contact me" to the sidebar and footer and have it redirect people to the contact form on my Contact page?

   You could add the link for your contact page to:
   /wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=link_category

   Admin Dashboard>Links

   http://codex.wordpress.org/Administration_Panels#Links_-_Putting_the_Inter_in_the_Internet

   in a new link category, add the links widget to your sidebar and configure it to use that link category (can be more than one)...this is any easy way for folks with little coding experience.
