   Hi ~
   Just started up a blog recently http://www.blog.riderag.com and I have different users set up but there is no author info showing up in my posts. I'd also like to add an author list (similar to categories)on the sidebar but have no idea how to do that.

   Thanks. I got the words "List of Authors:" to show up in the sidebar but that's it. No links and no author listings on the posts. I have selected different authors in my post when creating the posts but that data doesn't seem to go anywhere.

   Link to Author from Posts section in that article shows adding tags to your templates to link to author page

   Thanks again for the link but I don't see how to access "The Loop" that is referred to on the Codex pages. There is no way for me to edit the template the blog is on.

   Are you looking for an author listing in the sidebar? You need to add the widget - go to Appearance > Widget and add the Author List (included in the core WordPress).

   If you have a cache, you ought to clear it before you can view updates.

   No. No such widget is available in the core WordPress.

   @kichu: You're right! I guess I must've been using a plugin.

   In either case, you can use one of these plugins to display an author list in the sidebar:
   KNR Author List
   List Authors
   Author Avatars List
   Authors Widget
