    hi ! this is a great plugin !

    I didn’t search, but i promess after this topic is sent, i’ll take a look. But i wanted to ask anyway.. 🙂 Because it could help a lot for everybody i hope.

    SO my question is, how can we create a new type of custom activity, using the plugin Activity Plus, to create a Q&A system.

    So the users could be able to clearly ask a question using the activity update form in buddypress, that should be then displayed stronger and nicer, with the ability for other users to vote for responses.

    I know you have a Q&A Premium Plugin, but maybe we could mix it with Activity plus, shall we?

    Anyway, my question is how to add a new activity type ?, and it could be whatever – in my case i want to add a question type.

    Ok i took a look, to see if i could find a way to do it myself.

    I think i could just add a new button with a “?” and, add some js function in the bpfb_interface.js

    Unfortunetly, i do not know any basics of javascript :'(

    I think is should be a very simple script as a font-resize et a font-family change in CSS.
    And you’ll the javascript funciton will be just here to call this specific css for the question type ?

    is anybody could give me some clues ? And then i’ll try to do it, and then, if it works, i’ll share with all of you !!

    ooh and i’m french 19 years old, so i wanted to apologie for my syntax.. 😉

    Wow i didn’t come for a while on this thread !

    I found a solution with a Q&A plugin from here : http://www.designwall.com/guide/dw-question-answer-plugin/

    So it’s working, and i’m pretty happy of this. But as my first suggestion was to mix the WPMU Q&A plugin with the WPMU Activity Plus, i still do not know how to make it magic !

    haha ! How can we add custom post type to the activity plus plugin ? I mean adding a new button which takes cares of a custom posts types ?

    Then for example, if i have a custom post type “question”, a new button next to the image/video/link’s one should appears as a “post a question”.

    In instance, i’m using the plugin frome design wall and i’m using you’re tips for recording a custom post type in the activity stream, and it’s great, thank you! But it wasn’t really what iid imagined to simplify the users experience. ..

    This is not possible out of the box without custom coding.
