    I created my own site logo but need to know how to upload it to the template. On my site (http://www.thegoldenhat.com/) I want to place the logo where it says The Golden Hat in the upper left hand side of the page and replace that text with my logo (its a jpg file). I also want my logo to link to my homepage whenever someone clicks on it, and I want the logo to exist on every page in my site. Can someone show me how to do that in the source code and where to do that in the Admin section of my WordPress blog?

    Thanks!!!!

    Very simple (like all the things you know... :P)

    1. upload your logo to the server

    2. edit your template file 'header.php'
    (/wp-content/themes/fspring_widgets/header.php)

    3. find the line where it says:
    (<h1>The Golden Hat</h1>)

    4. change the line to:
    (<h1><img src="path_to_image/image_name.jpg" border=0 alt="The Golden Hat" /></h1>)

    5. change the following:
    - path_to_image = hmm... the path to your logo
    - image.jpg = erm... the name of your logo

    Good luck!

    Nice, elegant solution, xanuex. My logo is a flash object, not an image. How would that change your solution?

    Thanks.

    I should have mentioned what I've already tried:

    Instead of "Golden Hat" I inserted:

    <h1><object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=4,0,2,0" width="509" height="182">
    <param name="movie" value="osha1.swf">
    <param name=quality value=high>
    <embed src="osha1.swf" quality=high pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="509" height="182">
    </embed> </object></h1>

    Then I placed "osha1.swf" into the folder: public_html/wp-content/themes/fspring-10/fspring-10.

    The result is a new white box, the size of my flash logo, but no flash logo.

    You can see the logo -- working -- at http://www.oshadavidson.com

    Any suggestions?
