   Hello!

   I know that I can edit single.php to add something which is shown in each single post.

   But where do I have to add a link for example so that it is shown under each post on the startpage.

   For example if I have 8 posts on the startpage I would like to have a link under each of them. When I edit single.php the link is only shown on the individual post page.

   Via your index.php file in your theme files. The index file is what shows first [unless specifically changed for some other purpose].
