   Does anyone know how to add a badge to a sidebar? I have the HTML code but I don't know where to go on my dashboard to put the code in.

   you could use a textwidget, and enter your html code in it.

   Sorry I'm not seeing appearance : / I see posts, links, media, profile, etc but no appearance anywhere.
