Event Calendar & Ticketing
[resolved] How Should Events Be Displayed (5 posts)

I have installed the free version of the Event Calendar and Ticketing plugin as I need something very simple to inform parents of meetings and events at a school. Features included in the Pro version aren't needed.

I have added a couple of events, but I am very surprised how they are displayed and I'm guessing I'm doing something wrong.

If you take a look at the event via the link below, a description of what's happening at the event is displayed above the event's date, time and venue (which surprises me) and that text is preceded by two random full stops.

The same text is then replicated underneath the event's date, time, venue etc.

I can't possibly imagine that this is how events are intended to be displayed.

I have trialled so many events calendars I really do hope this is going to be 'the one'.

Probably a theme issue. Looks like you got this fixed.

    Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, no I didn't get it fixed.

I continued to search and found an alternative plugin which is working just fine for my needs.

I'm having the same problem with the text being replicated underneath the event's date, time, venue, etc.

Also am seeing the two full stops after the "Posted on..." text.

FWIW, I switched themes to the default 2013 but experienced the same problem.
