   Once a pdf file is in the Media Library, how can I open it? I want to open, edit its properties and then re-save back into the Media Library.

   I don't think that you can do that. You would be better off, updating the file and replace it via FTP. Otherwise, you can delete it from your media library and re-upload it, but if you've set up your media to be stored in monthly folders, the path may be different.

   I would do it via FTP to be safe.
