   I only have 400 Mb of storage in my hosting account and I need to use them judiciously. How much space does installing WP use? I haven't found that info anywhere.

   Note, I'm NOT asking about bandwidth, just total file size.

   WP itself is < 2MB...

   WordPress (like most scripts) is just a bunch of text files and a few images, so as Yosemite said, only a few MB.

   Total size on my server is about 4 Mb. It depends on the version and theme you'll be using but I can assure you its not gonna be more then 5-6 mb in default.
