   I wonder if anyone can help me please? I've tried searching, but amn't really sure of what the plugin I want is actually called.

   I'd like to be able to display the number of people viewing my site at one time - something like "There are X people viewing this site right now".

   Does anyone know if there's a plugin that can do this? Apologies if there is one and I've not managed to find it.

   IS there a way to have the information output to a "sidebar" instead of an entirely seperate page?

   it can be done, but not advisable because there are too much information to output on a small sidebar. It may be clutered, unless you do not mind

   I don't mind. If it's too cluttered, the footer area would work like they have in the bottom of forums.
