Hi there,
I've got over 1000 posts for my blog that I've written in Word. I want to hire someone to be a contributor and post these articles to my blog. But I'm wondering how many "Drafts" you can have in wordpress and for how long.
I'm worried that these may drop off or get lost.
Thanks in advance for any help.
In theory, there shouldn't be a limit on 'number' or 'for how long.'
The question is, how many drafts will it show in the Your Drafts section of Write Post (or Manage Posts).
After putting in 20 or so drafts it looks like there is a link (in my case it says "and 3 more") to show more draft titles.
That's great... So basically the drafts are being written to the same database table as the other posts.
I didn't think there was a limit but I thought I'd check.
Is there a way to access just your drafts?
Many thanks,
Your drafts and other's draft are separated.
Maybe not to the point but also see this plugin:

Thanks! This is awesome... I'll try installing the patch.
Even though there is a patch, please note that is a 'wontfix' ticket and that Mark Jaquith is working on an overhaul of draft management for 2.3?
