I see version 2.5 of WordPress is available. How long will the 2.3 branch be maintained for? I am especially interested in how long it will continue to receive security updates.

I see version 2.5 of WordPress is available. How long will the 2.3 branch be maintained for? I am especially interested in how long it will continue to receive security updates.
At this time, I don't believe the 2.3 branch will receive anymore updates.
