How long to propagate?

    I just transferred a site from my testing server to the client’s official server. The backend appears (wp-admin) to be working just fine. All the files, images, plugins (with settings) are there, so it looks like migration was a success. However, the front end isn’t there yet. The site is largish, and I wondered if the site’s nonappearance is due to propagation time?

    Site was done propagating, there was a blank file titled “default.html” in the root, making the home page blank.

    I deleted it, and now everything works fine.
