I'm a student interested in Music and Philosophy.
I set up my domain and started my first blog.

My first question is, although I'm getting hits, how is my content? Should I have a higher slandered of writing, stick to my topics more?
This first post http://nvsounds.com/blog/?p=3 gives an overview of my purpose.
Second question: How often should I post? Will not posting hurt my online presence?
Any feedback would be appreciated!
I'm not a big fan of white text on a dark background. It shows off photo's well, but it gets tiresome to read after a brief period.
Another thing that makes it tiring to read is your font choice. I would choose something 'sans serif'
IMHO, the more you post the better. And it needs to be relevant to your sites purpose...music, speakers, etc. You want content on your site to increase search engine visibility.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll look into a better font.
As for the color scheme, is there a way to have a toggle? I like the light on dark, I find the other way hurts my eyes. If there is a way to have a toggle how can I do that, and would anyone recommend it?
I heard that good tags help a lot, what's a good guideline or tags? I have just been using key words from the post. What about "long tags"?

I wouldn't begin to know how to write code to have the option of dark text on a light background. Perhaps there is a theme that has that option.
I went back and looked at your page content and noted you aren't using an SEO plugin. I use "All in One SEO Pack" (do a search here on WordPress). It will help you create tags, headers, etc. for search engine optimization. If you can't be found by a search engine, no one will know you exist.
