   Hi all

   I am trying to find where in the wp code the current user is assigned a user level.

   What i mean is. When a user enters their account deltails into the wp-login form, they are logged into the admin side with certain permissions. Where in the code does the script find the user level to assign which permissions you have/what kind of user you are?

   Sorry my question is not that clear, i hope someone can interperet it and provide an answer.

   User levels are kind of obsolete. You will want to look at several of the plugins in the Resources section of Roles and Capabilities to help you change capabilities.
