    Greetings!

    i can see there is a "page order" in the admin-panel. However ... I can put numbers in a field but mi pages still listed the same way.

    How does "page order" work?

    As it is described in the Codex: Template_tags/wp_list_pages - see the "sort_column" parameter and its "menu_order" option.

    jesus ... I owe you like a week-sallery for looking after me!

    anyway; already got this: Where do I ad ''sort_column=menu_order''

    '<?php wp_list_pages('exclude=5,6,7,8,12&title_li=<h2>' . __('Pages') . '</h2>' ); ?>'

    thx

    I believe you can just put it at the beginning (or anywhere). Just needs to be seperated by an &:

    <?php wp_list_pages('sort_column=menu_order&exclude=5,6,7,8,12&title_li=<h2>' . __('Pages') . '</h2>' ); ?>

    <?php wp_list_pages('sort_column=menu_order&exclude=5,6,7,8,12&title_li=<h2>' . __('Pages') . '</h2>' ); ?>

    actually it's there on the page I linked above, under
    4.2 List Pages by Menu Order

    It was this I was lookin for:

    'wp_list_pages('exclude=5,6,7,8,12&sort_column=menu_order&title_li=<h2>' . __('Pages') . '</h2>' );'

    Im stupid with php and could'nt found out how to put two arguments in the line ...

    I now found out that a "&" seperates the arguments; like

    param1=a&param2=b&param3=c

    thx

    is it possible to exclude a page order?

    My goal is to break up the page_list into two areas on the sidebar. One area list all pages EXCEPT 3 pages.

    The other area list ONLY the 3 pages excluded from above, regardless if I add more pages or not. I figure the easiest way is to assign pageorder and then include or exclude that pageorder.

    OR is there an include argument to only display pages x,y,z?

    There is no include.
    And for 3 Pages I wouldn't bother: just link to them manually.
