   Im using wp-imageflow2 to show record covers on my site (http://thafrecords.com).

   At the moment I'm using the upload to a directory method. I want to use the gallery method so i can have the image link to posts but dont want to use all of the images i have in my image library just a select few.

   You can use the Media Tags plugin by Paul Menard to tag the selected images. Then you can use the mediatag option with the wp-imageflow2 shortcode to select the desired media.
