   I'm using the Twenty Eleven theme. How do I shorten the amount of text displayed so that its just a picture and a paragraph of my post. Then when the user clicks on the post they are taken to the post to see it in its entirety. Does this theme have that option?

   Thanks for any help in advance.

   I personally using the Excerpt editor plugin. (http://www.laptoptips.ca/projects/wordpress-excerpt-editor/)

   Does what it says. You can also turn your posts into excerpts just what you are looking for.
   Also useful for RSS feed descriptions.
