   Hi,

   I have just installed wordpress onto my domain using 1and1.co.uk as the host and want to run my website and my blog simultaneously.

   Firstly can this be done and secondly ifso, can you run a website, in my case a simple 2 page site through wordpress.

   Yes. WordPress can have a blog posts and also a selection of static pages. I do that on my site http://www.obscure.co.uk. It has a static front page, several articles (pages again) and also a blog. See http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages
