• I keep getting the message “ERROR: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress.”

I believe it has something to do with using http://www.domain.com vs http://domain.com.

Where or how do I change the wording of this error message and the branding of the tab when this error occurs?

I need to change it from saying “WordPress” to something else.

    Thanks

  • Actually, what you need to do is have your host set it up so that either address directs you to the same site.

Since this is a known issue with WordPress, will it be corrected?

How is this a “known issue with WordPress”? This is NOT a WP issue, it’s a hosting issue. There is nothing to correct within WP, as this is not something WordPress has control over.

Again, your host can set this up correctly for you. If you have the option to edit your domains, you should see something like this. (Only you would select the “leave it alone” option.)

If you don’t have an option to edit your domain, you’ll need to ask your host for support.

If you get this set up correctly with your host, you shouldn’t get an error, and there will be nothing to worry about.

I double checked my redirection with my host to verify all was set up correctly. When I mentioned this issue, I was referred to This WordPress Support Forum.

I just want it to work properly. When someone using my site would get this error, I need to have a better message than the one shown. How do I change this?

    Please help.

    Thank you.
