I have published my first blog and seen it on google but a second link has shown up just under my main link. WhenI click on hthis it returns a sn incomplete site with a few "tags" on the first page and no content except a banner ad. Obviously if someone visits this site then they will be put off. Does anyone please know how it happened or how I can remove it?
    The site that works is:

"Online Affiliate Business: Start with this amazing Free Video.
30 Apr 2010 ... The Marketeer Wizard reviews a Step by Step process of starting Your Online Affiliate Business from Scratch with a Free Video.
    marketeerwizard.com/ - Cached"

BUT below this on the Google Page is:
Make Money From Home | The Marketeer Wizard.com
The Marketeer Wizard.com. How to Make Extra Cash from Home. Skip to content. Home. Tag Archives: Make money from home. © 2010 ¶ Thanks, WordPress. ...
http://www.marketeerwizard.com/tag/make-money-from-home-2 - Cached" (I DO NOT KNOW HOW THIS GOT OUT THERE and I wish to get rid of it!)

    Cheers, Mike

Use a plain text editor to create a file named robots.txt with the following content:

    # robots.txt for http://www.marketeerwizard.com/

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /tag/make-money-from-home-2

Then, use an FTP or SFTP client to upload it to the same directory as your wp-login.php file.

Thankyou macmanx very much for your reply but forgive my ignorance as I do not speak the same language. (I feel so inadequate!) This is my first go at this and I have not got a clue what you have suggested. I'll do a bit of research on your suggestion and try it out ( can I do any harm?)
    Cheers, Mike

robots.txt is a very powerful tool as it controls what bots (including the Google bot) are allowed to see. Read these for more info:
