   I want to present a demo of my themes. How do you do it for multiple themes? I would hate to have a dozen wp installs just to showcase a theme.

   I downloaded Artisteer and saved a theme I made for WordPress. I want to use it for my blog. How do I upload it for all users? My wordpress.com blog is http://funnypicsfromcp.wordpress.com/. Thanks!

   @Ennbay: you can't upload custom themes at WordPress.com. You can only do that with self-hosted blogs (like we support here).

   Thanks! That helped a lot! The only thing is, I want my theme to be available at WordPress.com blogs, in the Theme section. Is this possible? If so, how do I do that?

    Ok, now I have another question. When I tried to upload a theme I made using Artisteer, it says "The zip file must include a file named 'style.css'." How do I get that on there? Here's a pic of my theme: http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh156/Ennbay12/Ennbay-themepreview1.png

    I found a theme switcher plugin: http://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/wiki/ThemeSwitcher

    The problem with this plugin is that you can't assign a theme to be show. For example, I've created a new theme, MyNewTheme, I want to put a link in my post, if visitors click the link, there will be a demo WordPress blog using MyNewTheme, how can I do this???

    Zacklive, that's sort of like my question. I want to use my theme for my blog. I don't know how to though. So we really have like the same question. Great minds think alike!

    you cant use your own theme on wordpress.com.

    1. Pics never help - nobody sees the code!
    2. If a theme doesn't have the style.css file or if it is not coded properly... WP will complain.
    3. You are trying to upload the theme WHERE?

    Can you list the files that are in your ZIP file? Is there a style.css in the zip file?

    Are you trying to submit the theme to the Theme section of wordpress.org? Or are you trying to apply it a blog you have?
