   Im posting on my blog and some of my posts are quite long and i want them to show just the fisrt few lines followed by a read more link which shows the rest of the post much like this blog.

   How do i do this?

   when you write or edit your post in the admin area, press the 'more' button when your text cursor is at the point where you want this 'read more...' message to be shown. in the visual editor, it looks like a picture of two pieces of toilet paper (two white bits with a horizontal line in the middle), and in the html editor it says 'more' on it.
