How do you give Twenty Ten theme a flexable width? (2 posts)

I'm trying to make a webcomic with WordPress and am using the default Twenty Ten theme, I don't want to use the side bars so I deleted the code for it removing them from the site, but I still can't use the space it took up.

I'm not sure sure if the issue is extending the width main column or removing the padding of the side bar.

Because of this all the pictures I put of my site become re-sized and shrunk making my comics much harder to read

(Besides deleting all of the code in side bard I haven't touch any of the code else where in the theme)

Don't edit the Twenty Ten theme! Your changes will be over-written the next time you upgrade WordPress or the theme. For this reason, it is recommended that you consider creating a child theme for your customisations.
