   Hi there, I'm quite new to wordpress and I was wondering what is the best way to tackle this problem.

   Basically this is my site structure -

   -home
   -about
   -news
   -blog
   -contact

   I want to be able to post separate entries in to either news or blog depending on which one I want to post in.

   Could someone tell me the best approach for this.

   This is exactly what I want to do also. I want the blog on the front page and a separate news page where the entries stay separate. Any suggestions?

   what theme are you using? It's actually not that hard to accomplish - you need ftp access.

   I'm curious about this as well, but I haven't settled on a final theme yet. If you could help frazerf, I could probably learn to adapt it, though.

   viktor89, sorry for the late reply :( Been very busy here!

   Could you please explain the basic process on how to accomplish this no matter what theme is being used? I ask this because I am a web designer and use a number of different themes as the basis of my designs then tweak them for uniqueness.

   I currently have a fire department who wants a site where there is one "blog" page they can update every time there is a fire call they respond to. And they need another one for administrative/city news. So basically, two blog-style pages on one site.

   Can you please explain the process for accomplishing this?
