How do they do this! (5 posts)

    Hello WordPress gurus.

Short of having to pay a wordpress designer , I figured I could get the forum's help on this one and try to build it myself. I'm a photographer trying to get a page on my site to look (and function) EXACTLY like the following...
    http://methanestudios.com/category/prints.

Specifically, I want the ability to have thumbnails on the left and the enlarged photo on the right. My questions are these.
    A. Would this be done by making the right column a sidebar?
    B. Would these each be separate posts or one page?
    C. Did the author make many different pages with the same content? and how does he have pagenavi connecting if these are all posts? As far as I knew pagenavi can only work with pages and not posts.
    C. I noticed fancybox and queries being used but just can't quite figure this out. Perhaps there is a theme with similar functionality?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Dan,

Have a look at the gallerific plugin - http://www.twospy.com/galleriffic/example-2.html
I think that's what they used for their gallery.

    Hi Christine,

Thanks for that tip. It looks, however, like they used fancybox and some sort of query call to each page. I'll definitely look at the options with gallerific though...

    Root,

CSS would definitely explain the look of the site but not, specifically, linkages and how they work to populate the right side column. As I far as I can tell.
