It looks like WP is resizing the images on upload, how do I get it to stop doing that? TIA.

Admire the pretty menu. :-)
Each line of that menu is essentially a "toggle". So click on "Using Thumbnail" and the value will change.
When done, click on "Close menu".
got it, thanks. now however the thumbnail, no matter what I try makes the text imeadiately after it disappear. why/how is it doing that? looking at the source everything looks fine:
<img id="image127" height=96 alt="" src="url removed for the kids" width="50/>
Hope you like it!
Category:
I don't see "Hope you like it!" or "Category:" everything after that point shows up fine.
Where's the " after 50? Is that a typo or is it not really showing up in your editor?
nice catch, I missed that 100x! HOWEVER, that's what WP does...how do I fix that?
Also, there needs to be a space after img.
there is a space after img. as I asked before, that's what WP does...how do I fix that?
Here's my guess: You're dragging and dropping the image up to the post. Secondary guess, you're using Firefox.
Am I close on either?
If so, instead of dragging the image to the post, click on it and choose "send to post" instead and see if that makes a difference.
nope. nice idea though. I'm using IE and the code WP gens is incorrect (doing it just like you suggest)
Boy, I'm stumped then.
Is it incorrect immediately after sending it to the post or after you Save or Post it?
I think it's because I'm running WP 2.0, man I really don't want to upgrade...
why do you not want to upgrade? There were dozens (at least) bug fixes in 2.0.1 and another issue resolved with 2.0.2.
now I've upgraded, and the original problem is gone, but replaced with another WTF!?
now, it's not closing the links...ugh.
also, I notice that this upgrade doesn't have the rich editor post window...why? what am I missing here? the option is set...
started a new thread sine this one isn't quite right now:
