    Generally, with a FTP client.

    Have a read at Managing_Plugins

    Wouldnt it be cool if you could click on plugins, upload a zip file and have it automatcially unpack etc for you. Then all you would have to do is click activate...

    I've often thought you should be able to do this for plugins and themes...

    There's a plugin (perhaps more) that will do just that!

    That wouldn't be that hard to do actually, just add an if statement to check the file type and a system call with gunzip/uncompress.

    If only every plugin author zipped in the same way. As I recall, one issue was nested folders...

    I didn't realize the plugin manager had been updated/was still around?
