   I know how to upload a photo when the browse option is there. However, in the Art Magazine theme for the slide show it wants a url path. My photos are stored in my c drive, how do I do this?

   upload them to your server. Then they have a url!

   If your uncomfortable using a ftp program then another option is to use the builtin media uploader in wordpress. Under the Media tab click Add New, then point to your file and upload it from there. Then you are given the file URL at the bottom then you can just copy and paste that to where your theme is asking for a URL.
