How do I upload a file?

    When I try to upload a file it says:

    “The uploaded file could not be moved to .”

    How do I specify where the file should be uloaded to? Could someone please point me to where this is expained. I apologise for asking such a simple question, I just can’t find the answer and I’ve searched these forums for over an hour.

    WordPress admin panel, OPTIONS tab, MISCELANNIOUS sub-tab, fill Store uploads in this folder: [TYPE dir for uploads place here].

    // But I guess maybe this isn’t your problem, maybe the directory you’re trying to upload to doesn’t have the right permissions (CHMOD)? Someone?… 🙂

    Thank you for your speedy responce, both your suggestions were useful. I pointed the thing to the default folder and also had to change the permissions. Now it works fine.
