   At the bottom of the Parents pages, there is a Reply comment section. My website is informational/static. I do not want the Reply comment section to appear on any page. How do I turn it off?

   Settings->Discussion. Uncheck "allow people to post comments on new articles". Save changes.

   I have same issue. Have gone into Settings-Discussion and unchecked everything. Still seeing Leave reply.

   there are more settings for each post/page below the editor in the 'edit post' or 'edit page' pages in the dashboard.

   if this does not show, click 'screen options' near the top right of these pages.
   tick 'discussion';
   this should get the 'discussion' options to show below the editor.
