My site is hosted by godaddy and i need to make a change to the site. We had someone build it for us, and i havent tried to edit the site in quite some time. I've logged in and all that, but i cant get to the "admin" part of my page. I remember when i was logged in, and at my site, there was that bar up at the top. As anyone reading this has already figured out, i dont know much. PLEASE HELP!

I'm wondering if the guy who built the site had me using his login info? He's been incommunicado for some time and anything i find on him says hes no longer building websites.

Is there a way to pick up the site where it is and relaunch it using godaddy?

You will need either access to the files on the server or the database. Do you know any details at all?

i can log into and see all my stuff there at godaddy. Other than that, i think you probably know as much as i do. Is it possible that my wordpress account expired or anything like that? Here i thought getting to the specific login page was the problem and now i have no clue what login to use. Or even if i have the login info.

Can you view your MySQL databases at godaddy? If so you need to find the users table and edit it to change the email address of the admin user to your own email address.

Can you see PHPmyAdmin? Can you access the files on the server to modify them?
