When someone registers to my site, they are suppose to receive an e-mail with their password. I don't know how to set that up. I knowticed a part where you can enter an e-mail address under settings->general, but nowhere to put in a password. Does it have to be an e-mail from that site, or can it be any old e-mail. I saw something about changing from mail() to sendmail, but I have know clue what that is. HALP!!!

Posted 2 years ago #I have the same issue. What I can see is an option to setup mail that you would use to do email post to the blog but nothing on how to setup your email to mail your members. As I own the server I am able to make changes to any setting I need too. Right now I have my forum (SMF) using an SMTP mail account for the members to receive mails
