   2.8 is such a dog that I want get back to 2.7.1 but how do I do it?

   Well actually it was quite simple. If you have 2.7.1 just re-upload it (remove all the old files first!) and it worked perfectly except for all the links to pages which 2.8 turned off, so you might have to check that login/register/pages are all there.
