I posted about my problem(s) here, here, and here. Very simply, I'm looking for a solution to replace text in my weblog posts automatically, one that works with mod_rewrite and custom permalinks. For example, everytime I save the word "Mom" in a post, I would like it to display as a link to her website.
phpGiggle
edit:
nm i see you're trying to use phpgiggle.

Yes, it currently isn't working for me. Also, it appears that the author of the app isn't supporting it anymore. :-(

Unfortunately, yes I have looked there. That's how I got the notion of attempting this in the first place - using the Text Replace plugin. I'm still using that plugin, as it is the only one that is close to what I want to accomplish. Someone suggested checking out
hotscripts. I'll be looking there next.
