    Hi,

    I want to replace the Blog title in the Twenty Ten theme with my company logo (which is a Jpeg file). How do I do that?

    Thanks in anticipation.

    Mark (WordPress newbie)

    hi,

    First, upload logo image in themes/twentyten/images folder then

    find code (" title="<?php echo esc_attr( get_bloginfo( 'name', 'display' ) ); ?>" rel="home"><?php bloginfo( 'name' ); ?>) in twentyten/header.php and replace this code

    <div id="logo">"><img src="<?php bloginfo( 'template_url' ); ?>/images/MC-Logo.gif" alt="" /></div>

    Thanks, dots. I tried (replacing MC-Logo.gif with my logo file), and got this: http://www.bespoke-group.co.uk/wordpress/

    Any further ideas? Please bear in mind I don't do code!

    Samuel, I've tried your "corrected code" but the logo image still does not appear.

    I uploaded the logo image within the Dashboard's "Upload new media" function. I'm wondering whether this uploads by default to the ".../images" folder dots refers to, or perhaps another folder? Could this be causing the problem?

    No, Samuel. That's the 'header' image, and that's AOK.

    I was wanting to replace the Blog title (which, I think, was orignally the text 'Blog'). Dots code successfully removed the text, but it hasn't replaced the text with the required logo image: Bespoke-group-uk.jpg

    To change the Twenty ten theme blog title to an image of your choice

    look for:

    `<span>
    <a>" title="<?php echo esc_attr( get_bloginfo( 'name', 'display' ) ); ?>" rel="home"><?php bloginfo( 'name' ); ?></a>
    </span>`

    Replace with:

    `<span>
    <div id="logo"> <a href="<?php bloginfo('url'); ?>"><img src="http://www.your_URL.com/images/eco.jpg" alt="Your text" /></a></div>
    </span>`

    Remember to remove the beginning and ending ticks in the examples above.

    To remove the lines at the top and bottom of the logos:
    open style.css and look for #branding img. Change border- values to "0" see example below.
    #branding img {
    border-top: 0px solid #000;
    border-bottom: 0px solid #000;
