   Hi, I am using Oulipo 1.0.6 in WP 2.9.1. In the left-hand title bar a list of new pages appear as I add them, but I am listing pages in the right-hand side-bar. All I want in the left side-bar is a feed button, which is now obscured. How can I stop this automatic updating of pages? I know zero about HTML or any other code. Thank you for any advice.

   You could try editing the template file for your left-hand sidebar and remove any reference to <?php wp_list_pages();?>

   esmi,
   I removed that line and refreshed the site to no effect. Thank you. I'll keep trying.

   is there a list pages widget in the left sidebar?

   Esmi, You're quite right: http://www.vintageragtrader.com is my site. I very much liked the simple title in the left-hand side-bar and all the other stuff over on the right. In the widget list there is a "pages" widget which only seems to deal with what happens in the right-hand sidebar - or sidebar 1 as widget describes it - I don't seem to have any control over the other sidebar.
