How do I remove extra widgets and search tabs?

I am brand spanking new to WordPress so please forgive the complete ignorance. I was hoping I might access the expertise here. On my wordpress I just installed, I found this them and love it here is my site w/ WP —> http://www.saephoria.com/rechronicles/ As you can see there are three search engine tabs and a double of the other widget. Could someone please tell me how to remove the extras so all I have is the column on the very right? Thank you so much!
