How do I remove a theme I authored from repository? (7 posts)

I have several very old themes I haven't supported in years, and I want to remove them from the repository but I don't see how. I had no subversion set up for them, and it was done on a computer I no longer have anyway.

  2. It's probably not the most direct way (or correct way for that matter) but consider joining the theme reviewers mailing list and post this question there.

Thanks for that, Jan. But, um... wouldn't I have to be a theme reviewer then? I'm really not interested in doing that.

  4. I'm pretty sure it's a public list... and they'd know for sure. ;)

I'll look around. If it were a plugin then I'd know who to ping. Theme questions... not so much for me...

    Again, thanks Jan. :-)

  6. The list is open for anyone to join -- and you can just drop an email to the list requesting that your themes be removed.

Of course, if you want to be a reviewer, we're always open to new recruits, err, volunteers ;)

Thanks, Amy. I just didn't want to join and then quit as soon as the themes were gone. I would have thought there'd be a way to do this through the theme author's profile.
