How do I place the forms next to one another? (5 posts)

    All the forms I'm including are one below the other. The text fields and text areas. I need two columns of forms, one form next to the other. Also, the borders(?) of the text fields are gray and look more advanced while those of the text areas are plain black boxes. How do I change these?
    Please help me out!
    Thank you.

    This is all CSS.

    To get the forms next to each other, set up two <div> tags and float them left, then add your forms inside these tags:

    <style>
    .form_container {
        float: left;
        width: 50%;
    }
    </style>

    <div class="form_container">
        <form>
            ....
        </form>
    </div>
    <div class="form_container">
        <form>
            ....
        </form>
    </div>

    As for the text areas, use FireBug (or whatever else you have that's equivilent) to see where the style is being added to the input fields, and then you can either copy that to a new declaration for the textbox, or add textbox to that declaration.

    Well.. You didn't mention anything about that before...

    Instead of <form>...</form> use whatever code/shortcode you use to insert the form into the page normally. That's all there is to it.

    Of course, you should probably take a bit of time and learn some HTML and CSS to be able to do small changes like this yourself in the future. :)
