I have created a custom theme, and want to upload it to wordpress; is there a specific directory structure i should use?

Ensue that the style.css, screenshot.png and main template files are in in the theme's root folder and the just zip the theme's folder.

Is it possible to create an easy installation package of a custom wordpress theme BUT there would be changes to each template after it is installed - like a different logo?
