   Hello, I'm wondering if there is a way to name pages (not posts) with an html extension within the WP admin? Also, whether this makes a difference to the search engines. In other words, do they care if your page is called http://www.mysite.com/fishing instead of http://www.mysite.com/fishing.html?

   If there is an easy way to name a page with the .html extension, I would rather do that? If anyone can help, it will be much appreciated.

   a permalink structure of
   /%postname%.html
   should give you what you want

   Hi, thanks for getting back to me but that only controls the name of 'posts'. I'm trying to find a way to name 'pages' in the same way.
