My current website is http://haveanawesomelife.com and I also have the domain name http://theawesometechcoach.com which points to a page of the main site.
I'm now splitting my business in two and want two different websites. Part of the content for the new site exists in the current site - about 5 pages and a few dozen posts.
What's the easiest way to move these pages and posts to a new site, with the same host?

What I would do is:
- set up a new installation of wordPress on http://theawesometechcoach.com
- Export all of your content from http://haveanawesomelife.com using the export function
- Import all of the content in your new coach site and then just remove what you don't need.
- Then do the same on your original site and delete the redirect.

Thanks Christine. What I did was export only the relevant blog categories and pages I needed and imported them into the new installation.
I thought it would be a big overwhelming project, and I was amazed by how easy it was. WordPress rules!
