   My current website is http://haveanawesomelife.com and I also have the domain name http://theawesometechcoach.com which points to a page of the main site.

   I'm now splitting my business in two and want two different websites. Part of the content for the new site exists in the current site - about 5 pages and a few dozen posts.

   What's the easiest way to move these pages and posts to a new site, with the same host?

   What I would do is:

   1. set up a new installation of wordPress on http://theawesometechcoach.com
   2. Export all of your content from http://haveanawesomelife.com using the export function
   3. Import all of the content in your new coach site and then just remove what you don't need.
   4. Then do the same on your original site and delete the redirect.

   Thanks Christine. What I did was export only the relevant blog categories and pages I needed and imported them into the new installation.

   I thought it would be a big overwhelming project, and I was amazed by how easy it was. WordPress rules!
