   Version 2.3.2

   Problem - I have developed a WordPress blog which I am now happy with and want to move this onto my website to replace the current blogging software which is no longer supported and a little bit clunky.

   I have transfered the MySQL tables and data, but when I move the site files all sorts of strange things happen. :)

   I have found, and tried altering, the options settings in the WP_Options table (option_name SiteURL & Home) to the URL of my webite. But to no avail.

   I would be grateful for any assistance that anyone might be able to give.

   Well a little bit more THINKING and I wouldn't have had to show myself as an idiot to the whole WordPress community. :(

   The two options named above DO work IF you use the whole URL. i.e. http://www.thisismysite.whatever/. WordPress seems to be a bit fussy about this. Missing off the "HTTP://" and the end "/" seems to have stopped it from working.
